THE FENIAN ANTHOLOGY OUT NOW

Joe Ambrose's next book, The Fenian Anthology , is out now with Mercier Press. The book can be pruchased from the Amazon shop on this site, as can many of Ambrose's other books and many books similar to The Fenian Anthology.

Ambrose traces the myth and influence of Fenianism through the words of W.B. Yeats, Tom Morello from RATM, Winston Churchill, and a cornucopia of rebels, infamous and obscure. The Spanish Civil War, the Republican Congress, Bernadette Devlin, the Provo's "Green Book".

Interspersed with original documents are Ambrose's own acerbic thoughts on people like Seamus Costello, Wolfe Tone, Cathal Goulding, and Frank Ryan.
